Sean “Diddy” Combs has received unexpected support from an ex-girlfriend who was initially set to testify against him during his Manhattan trial — but is now pleading for his release.

Gina Huynh, who was listed as “Victim-3” before going AWOL in the bombshell sex-trafficking trial of Bad Boy Records founder, penned a letter to the judge calling for Combs to be released before his October sentencing on prostitution charges, court papers show.

“To my knowledge, he has not been violent for many years, and he has been committed to being a father first,” Huynh wrote in the letter filed Sunday.

Huynh, who publicly accused Combs in a 2019 interview of stomping on her stomach and punching her in the head during their five-year relationship, insisted that she didn’t believe Combs was a danger to the community.

“I have known Sean Combs for many years in both a personal and professional capacity. From that experience, I have seen him primarily as a father, a family man, and a businessman, roles that he has always striven to uphold,” Huynh wrote.

“Our relationship, like many, was not always perfect; we experienced ups and downs, and mistakes were made, but he was willing to acknowledge his mistakes and make better decisions in the future.”

“Over the years that followed, he made visible efforts to become a better person and to address the harm he had caused. By the time our relationship ended, he embodied an energy of love, patience, and gentleness that was markedly different from his past behavior,” she added.

The ex-girlfriend, who dated Combs in 2014 after his romance with Cassie Ventura, was subpoenaed to testify about the alleged abuse as a prosecution witness during his trial — but mysteriously was a no-show in court.

In the letter going into bat for Combs, Huynh argued her allegedly violent ex had been “cooperative, respectful and compliant” amid the investigation and high-profile court proceedings.

“He has substantial ties to his family and community, including children who depend on him for emotional and financial support,” she wrote.

“Granting him bond would allow him to continue caring for his family and fulfilling his responsibilities while still subject to the Court’s supervision. I want to assure the Court that if released, I believe Mr Combs will adhere to all conditions imposed and will not jeopardize his freedom or the well-being of his family.”

During the trial, the rapper’s former assistant, George Kaplan, had testified that he once saw an angry Combs hurling apples at Huynh as she tried to protect herself.

Huynh, for her part, previously accused the hip-hop producer of attacking her — alleging in a 2019 interview with controversial blogger Tasha K that “everyone” around Combs had “allowed” the alleged abuse.

In one instance, she alleged Combs “stomped on [her] stomach really hard” and “took the wind out of [her] breath.”

“I couldn’t breathe. He kept hitting me. I was pleading to him, ‘Can you just stop? I can’t breathe,’” Huynh claimed.

“He was mentally, emotionally, and physically abusing me. He would always compare me to Cassie and tell me that I’m the bad one, she’s a good one,” Huynh alleged.

Combs was acquitted last month on racketeering and sex trafficking charges following a high-profile trial that revealed his twisted preference for “freak-offs” — grueling, drug-fueled romps in which he watched his girlfriend have sex with male escorts.

The rapper was found guilty of lesser prostitution charges.

He is currently fighting to be cut loose from the Brooklyn federal jail ahead of his Oct. 3 sentencing.
