The Gilded Age‘s hot summer run continues. Julian Fellowes’ HBO period drama, which gives the Downton Abbey treatment to New York of the Gilded Age, kept its streak of ratings records going with Episode 6 setting another series high. It has tallied 4.5 million U.S. cross-platform viewers in its first 3 days of availability.

That marks the 3rd consecutive week of new viewership records for The Gilded Age, which is now in the same ratings league as some of HBO’s biggest hits, like The White Lotus and The Last Of Us.

Season 3 of The Gilded Age has been impressive, with each episode delivering week-over-week audience growth. The run started with 2.7M three-day multi-platform viewers for the Season 3 premiere, climbing steadily to 3.8M for Episode 4, 4M for Episode 5 and now 4.5M for Episode 6.

With two episodes of the season left, the growth is likely to continue; Season 2 wrapped with what was at the time a series high of 3.2M cross-platform viewers for the first three days.

Following the big week-to-week viewership gain for Episode 6, Season 3 is now pacing 25% ahead of Season 2.

As the Episode 7 promo reveals, it will deal with the aftermath of Oscar losing his more-than-friend in a carriage accident and Marian breaking off her engagement to Larry over dubious reasons while it welcomes back a popular Gilded Age character, Nathan Lane’s Ward McAllister.

Earlier this week, the Emmy nominated series was renewed for a fourth season.
