Jess Glynne is blasting the White House‘s official X account for using her song in a video about ICE deportations.

The British singer took to social media to denounce a post made by Donald Trump‘s White House amid the widespread deportations across the United States.

“This post honestly makes me sick,” Glynne wrote on Instagram. “My music is about love, unity, and spreading positivity — never about division or hate.”

The White House got on the viral social media trend using the “Jet2 holiday” sound that uses Glynne’s “Hold My Hand” song in the advert.

“When ICE books you a one-way Jet2 holiday to deportation,” read the X post made by the White House. “Nothing beats it.”

Since taking office for a second term earlier this year, Trump has made it a priority to enforce immigration law. The harsh enforcement has led to widespread protests, especially in California, where Trump federalized the National Guard and dispatched Marines to Los Angeles to respond to protesters.

In June, the Trump administration moved to sue Los Angeles for refusing to cooperate with the federal immigration crackdown.

“Sanctuary policies were the driving cause of the violence, chaos, and attacks on law enforcement that Americans recently witnessed in Los Angeles,” Attorney General Pam Bondi said in a statement. “Jurisdictions like Los Angeles that flout federal law by prioritizing illegal aliens over American citizens are undermining law enforcement at every level – it ends under President Trump.”

Trump has targeted undocumented immigrants living in the United States, with the Department of Homeland Security saying in January it was ending a policy that restricted ICE agents from arresting undocumented people at houses of worship, schools, and hospitals.

“Criminals will no longer be able to hide in America’s schools and churches to avoid arrest. The Trump Administration will not tie the hands of our brave law enforcement, and instead trusts them to use common sense,” the DHS said in a statement earlier this year.
