The Indiana Fever are patiently awaiting superstar guard Caitlin Clark’s return to the court. In what has been a very disappointing year for Clark, she has been missing time recently due to a groin injury.

Clark has missed time in multiple different moments of her second WNBA season. Lately, she has been sidelined indefinitely due to her groin, which has become a major concern.

Despite Clark being out, the Fever have remained afloat. Currently, they hold a 14-12 record and are trying to keep themselves within striking distance of the playoffs.

While the fans and Indiana have been patient with Clark, she is facing major backlash after her latest off the court move.

Fans were very unhappy after a video went out that showed Clark out in public and kicking a soccer ball. It did not take long for the comments to begin pouring in and TMZ Sports picked up the story as well.

“Stop moving the right leg! PLEASE!!!!” one fan commented.

Another chimed in, “Bruh…this and jumping up and down on the sidelines what are we doing.”

“Watch the damn groin!!!” a third comment read.

A fourth fan said, “Oh yeah, that groin is looking real sore. Either she’s almost back to 100% or there’s some real bs goin on.”

“Did she forget she has a groin injury?” another comment read.

Throughout the course of her second WNBA season, Clark has struggled in a big way. Even when she has played, she hasn’t been able to play like herself.

In the 13 games she has played, Clark has averaged 16.5 points per game to go along with 8.8 assists, five rebounds, and 1.6 steals. Also, she has shot 36.7 percent from the floor and 27.9 percent from the three-point line.

Hopefully, this is a sign that Clark is nearing her return from the injury. ESPN had her potential return date listed as August 12 against the Dallas Wings.

It has been a tough season, but there is still time for her to get back on track. She has focused on rest of late, but if she isn’t able to return soon, this video will continue being an issue for the fans.

Expect to continue hearing more about Clark in the near future as she continues recovering and resting.
