We Are D3, alumni from an NCAA DIII school, will take on Fail Harder in a quarterfinal matchup in The Basketball Tournament on Sunday in Wichita, Kansas, at the Charleston Coliseum and Convention Center.
No. 7 seed Fail Harder advanced to the quarterfinals after a few upset wins. The team took down the alumni from the University of Indiana, the No. 2 seed Assembly Ball, in the first round by 13 points. In the second round, Fail Harder faced No. 3 seed All Good Dawgs, alumni from Butler University, and won 80-77. In the third round, the team took down the region’s top seed, beating Carmen’s Crew by six points, 68-62.
We are D3, took on and beat Layne’s Hope in the first round, beating the No. 5 seed by four points. Taking on the alumni from Syracuse in the second round, Boeheim’s Army, We are D3, won by just three points. In the third round to advance to the quarterfinals, D3 took down the UConn alumni group, Stars of Storrs. They won that game by eight points.
