Jennifer Lopez is just the latest performer to experience a wardrobe malfunction on stage, though she may be one of the only ones to have it happen at her birthday show.

On July 25, Lopez had just returned to the stage from a costume change when she experienced a pretty big one during her latest concert in Warsaw, Poland. In honor of the Lopez’s 56th birthday the day before, the background singers and dancers led the audience in a round of “Happy Birthday” while Lopez stepped out in a glittering gold bikini and matching fringe skirt—which led to another unexpected birthday surprise.

Before Lopez could really respond to the gesture, the skirt fell to the ground, leaving Lopez on stage in a shiny pair of gold underwear. “I’m out here in my underwear,” Lopez said as dancer attempted to help her fix the skirt. “That’s gonna be everywhere.”

Eventually, Lopez gave up on fixing the skirt and tossed it into the crowd. “I’m glad that they reinforced that costume,” she joked. “And I’m glad I had underwear on. I don’t usually wear underwear.”

While I’m pretty sure she would never forget to wear underwear under a see-through fringe garment, her positive attitude was beyond infectious. She even reassured the lucky audience member who grabbed the skirt that they can “keep it,” saying, “I don’t want it back. You can have it forever and ever.”

Lopez clearly didn’t mind the moment to living on “forever and ever” as well, as she eventually shared the clip on her own YouTube channel.

Fans were extremely supportive of Jennifer Lopez in the comments, with one fan reminding the singer, “One of my favourite [J.Lo quotes] is failure isn’t falling down flat on your face, failure is stopping !!!”

At 56 years old, Jennifer Lopez doesn’t seem anywhere near ready to stop. Happy birthday, J.Lo!
