It has been a two-man race for much of the 2025 Tour de France between the two men who have won this event for the past five runnings. Tadej Pogacar and Jonas Vingegaard sit in first and second heading into the final day of the competition.
Pogacar holds the edge and should be able to maintain the lead, as he is currently over four minutes ahead of the rest of the pack. Vingegaard has a chance to close the gap, but it would take a heroic effort during Stage 21.
Pogacar won in 2020 and 2021 before Vingegaard took over the top spot in 2022 and 2023. The Slovenian cyclist reclaimed the top spot last year, and he can reestablish himself as the fastest man on a bike with another Tour de France win on Sunday.
It has been a long journey to this point, but the finish line is within sight.
This is the biggest and most entertaining cycling event of the year that you will not want to miss; make sure to tune in and catch all the action.
