Ozzy Osbourne Concert Film Hitting Cinemas
Ozzy Osbourne’s starry final concert is getting the concert film treatment in the shape of Back To The Beginning: Ozzy’s Final Bow, which will make its theatrical debut in early 2026. Currently in production from Mercury Studios, the “love letter to Ozzy and the pioneering sound of Black Sabbath” will chart the recent all-day event held at the UK’s Villa Park, which included performances of songs War Pigs, Iron Man, Children of the Grave, and Paranoid. There will also be behind-the-scenes access and interviews. Hosted by Jason Momoa, the concert included performances from Metallica, Guns N’ Roses, Ronnie Wood, Steven Tyler (Aerosmith), Slayer, Pantera, Tool, Yungblud, Papa V/Ghost and a drum-off between Tool drummer Danney Carey, Blink-182’s Travis Barker and Red Hot Chili Pepper’s Chad Smith.
‘The Assembly‘ Renewed For Extended Season 2 At ITV
It is the format that made Danny Dyer and Gary Lineker squirm, and now it’s coming back for an extended second season on ITV. The Assembly, in which a group of inquisitive interviewers who are autistic, neurodivergent and/or learning disabled grill celebrities, will return for a seven-episode run. The previous season grabbed headlines as Rivals star Dyer, ex-Match of the Day host Lineker, David Tennant and Little Mix star Jade Thirlwall were made to feel uncomfortable under intense questioning, while it also provided some heartwarming moments. More news of the six celebs entering the Assembly hotseat will be forthcoming, while there will also be a The Assembly: Unseen ep. The French original format is now in 14 territories. The UK series is produced by Rockerdale Studios which, together with ITV, has worked with autistic and neurodivergent organizations to ensure every element of The Assembly works for and with autistic and neurodivergent voices. Katie Rawcliffe, Director of Entertainment & Daytime Commissioning, ITV said: “This really is ITV entertainment at its best: warm, funny, revealing and just that little bit mischievous. We’ve got lots of ideas about which famous faces will join for series 2 and we’re eager to see what we’ll learn from the fantastic questions The Assembly will have.”
