It’s still her franchise, and don’t you forget it. Despite the onslaught of newcomers serving as fodder for the reboot, Jennifer Love Hewitt remains a main draw for the (long-awaited) revived I Know What You Did Last Summer slasher series, and her look at the premiere for the 2025 iteration of the summertime horror pic was definitely serving final girl.
For the Los Angeles premiere, JLoHew kept her look breezy and bright, her hair styled into effortless beachy waves in a light amber color with lots of highlights framing her face that ranged from red to gold, which went nicely with her copper and bronze eye makeup. A basic pink lip and a light contour completed the makeup look, and her signature nose stud meant she didn’t need much by way of jewelry besides earrings. Feathered brows for a California girl, we see the vision.
Now, am I overthinking, or is this beaded dress reminiscent of all the nautical nets found in the beach town from the movie’s location? Maybe I’ve just seen too many references on red carpets. In any case, lookin’ good there, Hewitt.
The actor paired her little black cocktail dress with beaded heels, some punky rings, and a stack of bracelets, a fun and not-too-formal outfit for a movie that’s serious about scares and not much else. Her costars looked equally hot and happy, including Sarah Pidgeon, whose dyed blonde hair, even with dark roots, looks way more Carolyn Bessette-Kennedy than that wig they’ve been putting her in, so Ryan Murphy, we are once again asking you, please help this girl!
The brunette to Sarah Michelle Gellar’s blonde during the original IKWYDLS days, Hewitt has been this color of red—or as her hairstylist Nikki Lee called the hue, Sunset Lover—since May.
