Six Valkyries players scored in double figures in the defeat, with Tiffany Hayes and Janelle Salaun each scoring 16 to lead the way. The team’s lone All-Star, Kayla Thornton, scored 10 points and pulled down nine rebounds in Saturday’s loss.
