The Minnesota Vikings have been blessed with a lot of wide receiver talent over the years. From Randy Moss to Justin Jefferson, the quarterbacks playing for the Vikings have had some of the best weapons to work with in NFL history.
Moss is considered by most to be a top three to top five wide receiver of all-time. Jefferson is on pace to force his way into that conversation as well.
Through the first five years of his NFL career, Jefferson has played at an insanely high level. He has appeared in 77 games, racking up 495 receptions for 7,432 yards and 40 touchdowns. He’s just 26 years old as well and has plenty of time left playing at an elite level.
Jefferson is entering a new era in Minnesota this year. He will be the lead wide receiver for young quarterback J.J. McCarthy, who has yet to take a regular season NFL snap.

While there are a lot of questions surrounding the Vikings as a whole, everyone knows what to expect from the superstar wide receiver.
Recently, Moss spoke out and did not hold back about Jefferson. As shared by TMZ Sports, the legendary wideout has a very high opinion of the current Minnesota star.
“I think Justin Jefferson is on pace to be arguably the greatest ever and definitely the greatest Viking to ever do it!” Moss said.
“I’ve always been a fan of a complete football player, where you can score from anywhere on the field. And Justin brings that to the table. If you want to really be legendary, this is speaking for all wide receivers, not just Justin Jefferson, you gotta find ways to get in that end zone and bring the fans out of the stands up out of their seats.”

During his career, Moss was an absolute menace to opposing defenses. He played in 218 total games, catching 982 passes for 15,292 yards and 156 touchdowns.
Obviously, Jefferson still has a long way to go to catch Moss. However, he’s got plenty of time to do it if he stays on his current pace.
Getting this kind of praise from an all-time legend shows just how good the young wideout has been thus far. Entering the 2025 NFL season, Jefferson will be looking to keep the Vikings in contention and also improving his legacy.
