While Stage 8 isn’t expected to impact the yellow jersey race, General Classification teams will still be on alert. Crosswinds, crashes, or poorly timed mechanicals could all shake up the leaderboard, even on a flat day.
Riders like Tadej Pogačar, Jonas Vingegaard, and Primož Roglič will likely spend the day staying out of trouble and tucked behind their domestiques.
