Yes, “Clueless” is turning 30.
Before you say “whatever” to feeling old by this, the movie still looks like a total Betty.
The 1995 pop-culture classic is celebrating a major milestone with some collaborations with major toy brands.
On Thursday, Mattel unveiled Cher Horowitz, played by Alicia Silverstone, and Dionne Davenport, played by Stacey Dash, Barbie dolls—the two main characters of the film. Of course, they’re donning their famous plaid outfits from the opening of the film.
“Are we totally buggin’ or is it already the 30th anniversary of Clueless?” the brand wrote on Instagram. “Barbie celebrates three decades of Cher and Dionne, dressed preppy in plaid with a learner’s permit and cell phones in hand.”
Yes, Dionne’s includes a gold nose ring.

Mattel didn’t stop there.
To inspire a new generation of fans, the toymaker is launching a Fisher-Price Little People Collection featuring the late-Brittany Murphy’s character Tai Frasier. The three-toy set is $27.
They’re also launching “Clueless” themed Uno cards and a Polly Pocket compact, which also includes Murphy’s character.
American Girl is also getting in on the action by honoring the dynamic duo. Cher and Dionne’s plaid outfits are available for 18-inch dolls and are $80 each.
Cher’s outfit comes with the signature yellow and navy plaid jacket with matching skirt, yellow cardigan, white baby tee, white over-the-knee socks, white Mary Jane heels, toy cell phone with retractable antenna and a white faux-fur mini backpack with faux-leather straps.
Dionne’s outfit includes her iconic black and white plaid jacket and skirt, white baby tee, red cardigan, black Mary Jane shoes, black over-the-knee socks, her large white hat with black trim and large red flower and, of course, a play cellphone with retractable antenna.
The anniversary comes after it was revealed that a sequel is in the works.
The coming-of-age teen comedy debuted in 1995, launching the popular phrases “As If,” “Whatever!” and more. It starred Silverstone alongside Paul Rudd, Stacey Dash, Brittany Murphy, Dan Hedaya, Donald Faison, Breckin Meyer and other big names. It was loosely based on the Jane Austen classic “Emma.”
A spin-off series was created in 1996 on ABC and then UPN, but without Rudd and Silverstone. Rachel Blanchard took over as protagonist.
