Summary

  • Observe, founded by siblings Massimo and Alessia Acquaro, has built a cult following for its modular, genderless designs rooted in minimalist tailoring and architectural influence.
  • The Fall/Winter 2025 collection features waxed twills, mohair blends, and flannel plaids in muted hues, balancing structure with softness through layered textures.
  • Available online and in-store, the collection is also stocked at leading global retailers including HBX, Up There and more.

In a world obsessed with statement dressing, Observe proves the quietest voice often speaks the loudest. Founded in 2020 by Melbourne-based siblings Massimo and Alessia Acquaro, the design studio has steadily built a cult following for its restrained, unisex wardrobe, where modular tailoring, architectural influence and subtle textures form the brand’s DNA.

Massimo, currently completing his Master’s in Architecture, designs with a keen sense of structure and flow. His work reflects the studio’s signature philosophy: silhouettes that blur gender and function that don’t compromise form. Alessia, with a background in creative direction, guides the visual identity and is able to craft narratives that are refined, tonal and timeless.

Their Fall/Winter 2025 collection continues this trajectory. The offerings explore waxed reverse-weave twills, brushed mohair blends and flannel plaids rendered in muted hues of mocha and charcoal. The interplay of grain and layering grounds the collection, giving softness to precise cuts.

You can now shop the range via the brand’s online store, as well as retailers like HBX.
