Hugh Grant might have been sitting in one of the hottest seats at Wimbledon, but that did not stop him from squeezing in a nap.
The 64-year-old was caught on camera sleeping during the Novak Djokovic vs. Flavio Cobolli match at the tournament on Wednesday.
Grant was seen slumped to one side of his chair and hid his eyes under his tinted sunglasses as he sat next to his wife, Anna Elisabet Eberstein, in the exclusive Royal Box.
Not only was he sitting in the most coveted spot in the stadium surrounded by dozens of prominent figures, he was also directly behind Queen Camilla.
The “Notting Hill” actor slept through quite an exciting match, where Djokovic came from behind to win in four sets.
Fans on social media were quick to call out Grant for napping during the highly anticipated sporting event.
“I would give my eyes teeth to have his seat and Grant bloody snoozes,” one angry fan wrote.
“Don’t [sic] deserve that ticket !!” another added.
“How can anyone fall asleep during a tennis match when Novak Djokovic is playing?” a third fan wondered.
Other fans were quick to make light of his slumber with one fan writing, “Wakey Wakey Hugh.”
Invitations to sit in the Royal Box come directly from the Chair of the All England Club, and a strict dress code is enforced, according to Wimbledon’s website.
At another point in the match, the “Love Actually” star was seen laughing and chatting with his wife as well as Queen Camilla.
The tennis tournament has been a star-studded event with actors Joe Alwyn, Cooper Koch and Matt Bomer among the other celebrities who watched Djokovic defeat Cobolli on Wednesday.
