Pat Green is grieving the loss of several family members who have gone missing in the deadly central Texas floods.
“Over the weekend, during the devastating flooding that hit Central Texas, my family — like so many others — suffered a heartbreaking and deeply personal loss,” the country singer shared via Instagram Monday.
“We are grieving alongside countless Texans whose lives have been upended by this tragedy.”
“Pat’s little brother John, his wife, Julia, and two of their children were swept away in the Kerrville flood. We are heartbroken and anxiously waiting for all of them to be found,” Pat’s wife, Kori Green, added in her own post.
The update came after Pat postponed a concert he was set to perform on Saturday.
The “Carry On” singer wrote in an Instagram post that he decided to move his show to a later date “due to the unforeseen weather and tragedy around the Texas Hill Country.”
“Our prayers go out to all the folks affected by the floods in the Texas Hill Country,” he added.
Reps for Pat did not immediately respond to Page Six’s request for further comment.
The Green family joins the list of people affected by the terrible flooding sweeping through central Texas — which includes Kansas City Chiefs owner Clark Hunt’s family.
On Saturday, Clark’s wife, Tavia Hunt, took to Instagram to announce the tragic loss of their minor cousin, Janie Hunt, who died alongside many other children at Camp Mystic.
The day before, the floodwaters from the Guadalupe River spread rapidly through the camp grounds, taking multiple campers and counselors with it.
“Our hearts are broken by the devastation from the floods in Wimberley and the tragic loss of so many lives — including a precious little Hunt cousin, along with several friend’s [sic] little girls,” she wrote.
As of Tuesday afternoon, over 100 people — including 28 children — have died in the horrific floods, per CNN.
At least six people are still missing in Kerr County — five Camp Mystic campers and one counselor, according to Kerr County Sheriff Larry Leitha.
