Bad Bunny is getting political in the music video for his song “NUEVAYoL,” which translates to New York in English.

The global sensation’s video was released on the 4th of July and celebrates Latin culture but also makes a political statement about the Trump Administration’s immigration policies.

One of the most striking moments is when the singer stands on top of the Statue of Liberty, showcasing the Puerto Rican flag across the statue’s forehead.

Another moment going viral is at the end of the video when a voice, that sounds like President Donald Trump, is heard crackling over a vintage radio sitting on top of a table surrounded by four men.

“I made a mistake. I want to apologize to the immigrants in America. I mean the United States,” the message said. “I know America is the whole continent. I want to say that this country is nothing without the immigrants. This country is nothing without Mexicans, Dominicans, Puerto Ricans, Colombians, Venezuelans, Cubans.”

The radio is then promptly turned off, and the men leave the table.

It’s unclear if AI or a voice actor was used to mimic the president’s distinctive voice, but the statement made clear the singer’s message.

At the end of the Renell Medrano-directed video, the screen turns black and the words “Juntos Somos Más Fuertes” appear, which translates to “Together we are stronger.”
