Shohei Ohtani has been selected as a starter for the National League at the 2025 MLB All-Star Game, representing the Los Angeles Dodgers as a designated hitter.
The starters have officially been announced for the 2025 MLB All-Star Game in Atlanta, and to no surprise, Ohtani was one of the players selected.
This will mark his fifth All-Star appearance, and second time representing the National League since coming over to the Los Angeles Dodgers before the 2024 season.
Ohtani has hit 30 home runs already this season and batted in 55, and leads the league in runs with 83. He has yet to be fully integrated into the rotation as a starting pitcher, but he has started to take the mound for Los Angeles this season as well, with four appearances under his belt.
