Neo Sora (Happyend) and Salvatore Mereu (Three-Step Dance) are among the filmmakers set to debut new works as part of the Pardi di Domani competition at this year’s Locarno Film Festival.
The Pardi di Domani competition debuts new short and medium-length works from filmmakers. This year’s edition features 40 world premieres across three competitions and from 25 countries.
The films in Pardi di Domani will be eligible for a range of awards across the competitions, including the Pardino d’Oro, the Pardino d’Argento, Best Direction Award, Medien Patent Verwaltung AG Award, and Best Swiss Newcomer Award.
The 2025 edition of the Locarno Film Festival will take place from 6 to 16 August 2025.
