MotoGP heads to the TT Circuit Assen in the Netherlands this weekend for the Motul Grand Prix of the Netherlands, the 10th race of the 2025 season and part of the sport’s 77th overall campaign.
It’s been an impressive year so far, especially for the Marquez brothers, who currently lead the championship standings and continue to be major contenders in the title race.

The Spanish brothers, Marc and Alex Marquez, have combined to win six of the first nine races this season, with Marc winning five of those, including the two most recent events. Marc’s Ducati Lenovo Team teammate Francesco Bagnaia has also won a race this year.
Marc is the current points leader with 270 points, while his brother Alex is in second with 230 points. The pair finished first and second in both the Aragon Grand Prix and the Italian Grand Prix.
Bagnaia is third in points, followed by Franco Morbidelli, Fabio Di Giannantonio, Johann Zarco, Marco Bezzecchi, Pedro Acosta, Fermin Aldeguer and Fabio Quartararo.
Ducati is leading he constructor standings, with at least one driver from the constructor recording a podium in each race. Only two drivers not riding Ducati have wins, with the Honda of Johann Zarco winning in France and the Aprilia of Marco Bezzecchi winning in Great Britain.
