Kelly Osbourne makes triumphant red carpet return after addressing ‘scary’ weight loss

Kelly Osbourne walked the red carpet at the National Television Awards 2026 on Tuesday, days after she spoke out about her “scary” weight loss.

The TV personality wore a bold blue and brown tartan off-the-shoulder gown by Vivienne Westwood to London’s O2 Arena.

Her accessories included layered necklaces and drop earrings, while she kept her blonde hair slicked back in a bun.

Kelly, 41, completed her look with dramatic makeup, including bright blue eyeshadow that matched her dress.

The “Fashion Police” alum attended the award show to support the BBC documentary “Sharon & Ozzy Osbourne: Coming Home,” which was nominated in the Authored Documentary category, but lost to “Our Girls: The Southport Families.”

The Osbourne doc was filmed over a three-year period leading up to Ozzy Osbourne’s death in July 2025.

Kelly, who brought her close friend Bradley Riches as her date, spoke to Metro on the red carpet about receiving support from the public over her weight journey.

“It’s sad that it had to get to a point to where people had to stand up for me and say something,” she said. “It’s hard to grieve anyone. I would never wish that upon anybody.”

Kelly added, “But to have to do it in front of the world, and then get judged for the way that you do it, was even harder.”

Ozzy and Sharon’s youngest daughter also said she’s “grateful” for the “beautiful people in this world that showed me kindness, love and support” after her father’s death.

Additionally, Kelly told Metro that she hasn’t watched the BBC doc because it’s “too painful,” but noted that “it’s an honor” the project was up for a nomination.

“What I think is so special is to everyone who voted for it, whether we win or not, you’ve been a part of our life story and the journey with our family from day one to now,” she explained. “The fact that we’re even here tonight being nominated is because of you, and we’re so grateful as a family.”

Kelly also thanked BBC for being so “caring and careful and attentive to my father as they were filming.”

“It’s a devastating story,” she added, “but it’s also a really beautiful one.”

Kelly has been open about how grieving Ozzy’s death has taken a toll on her.

She recently told the Daily Mail that she wore a wig to hide her weight loss at the 2026 Grammy Awards in February, where there was a special tribute to Ozzy.

“I looked like the f–king Crypt Keeper,” Kelly said, admitting she “was in so much pain” and felt like “a broken person” after her dad’s death.

But in a positive update, Kelly —  who separated from her fiancé, Sid Wilson, in March — shared last month that she was “getting a lot better” and receiving the help and support she needed for her weight loss struggles.

“It’s going to take me a minute. I’m not going to be fixed in a day. I’m not going to be fixed on one therapy session,” the mother of one said.

She added, “This is a lifetime of work I’ve got to do and continue to do for the rest of my life.”
