Emma Stone, stop it right now.

Ever since 1998, I’ve wanted young Leonardo DiCarprio’s haircut from Titanic, knowing full well I don’t have the bone structure or je ne sais quoi to pull off anything shorter than a shaggy bob. For over 20 years, I’ve managed to resist the urge, only to be completely thwarted by a new dream pixie cut in the span of one morning Instagram scroll.

You see, Emma Stone’s dramatic spring pixie cut has started to grow out, and now she looks like this:

If the short chop—which previously laid flatter against her head and featured the babiest of baby bangs—looked gorgeous before, it looks even more ethereal now with some added length around the ears and some swoopy, layered wavy bangs. It’s all about “defined texture,” as Mara Roszak described in her Instagram post about Stone’s new “Whymsy Pixie.”

Of course, the main draw of a pixie cut is a simple styling routine, and Roszak explained exactly how to make a grown-out pixie look like Stone’s in just a few easy steps. In an Instagram story, Roszak advised viewers to “load damp hair” with the Air Thickening & Texturizing Hair Styling Spray from her hair-care brand RŌZ, before its time to “scrunch, twist, diffuse.” Once dry, place whispy hair pieces with the RŌZ Evergreen Hair Styling Cream.

How am I supposed to think about anything else for the rest of summer as temperatures rise and my thick head of hair feels more and more in the way? Just look at Stone outside of Jimmy Kimmel Live!, looking effortlessly cool (in more ways than one) with her bang pinned to one side and swept away from her face with one or two bobby pins.

The ’90s really are back—and so is my endless yearning for a summer pixie cut. Thanks a lot, Emma Stone.
