The United States women’s national team will face Ireland in a friendly match on Thursday in Commerce City, CO, and follow that up with another friendly on June 29 in Cincinnati, Ohio.
The USWNT will also play a third game during the international window on July 2 against Canada.

U.S. Women’s National Team head coach Emma Hayes has been focused on building for the future, using this current stretch to experiment with new players and tactical approaches. With the 2027 World Cup in mind, Hayes opted to leave her Europe-based players out of the current squad, choosing instead to bring them back into the fold during the next international window in the fall.
Ranked 25th internationally by FIFA, Ireland failed to qualify for this summer’s UEFA Championship after losing in the second round of the qualifying playoffs via aggregate to Wales.
These are the 16th and 17th meetings between the two nations, with the USWNT holding a 15-0-0 record and +50 goal differential. The United States most recently won two friendlies (2-0, 1-0) in April 2023.
