JBL has revamped its signature Flip 7 and Charge 6 portable speakers line with new and improved features.

The new generation of speakers not only arrives in a range of bold colorways but also features innovative AI Sound Boost technology that analyzes music in real-time, optimized to deliver crisp audio quality without distortion for an elevated listening experience.

Staying true to its portability legacy, the Flip 7’s redesigned accessory system opens up new ways to carry the speaker. Inspired by the outdoors, it features two accessories: a finger loop and a carabiner that snaps into place to take the music wherever you are. However, it’s the Flip 7’s newly upgraded, powerful bass that’s a highlight of this iteration of the series. As well as using the latest Bluetooth® 5.4 for improved connectivity, it also handles multi-speaker connection with Auracast™ and boasts up to 16 hours of music on Playtime Boost mode from a single charge. Externally, it features an IP68 waterproof and dustproof rating, as well as a drop-proof design from up to 1m, which provides added peace of mind.

While the Charge 6 offers many of the Flip 7’s features, this revamped speaker is now also equipped with a detachable strap that can be configured in a variety of ways — such as over the wrist or speaker-wide — inspired by the silhouette of a purse and designed for on-the-go activities making for the perfect wearable accessory. As well as the aforementioned AI Sound Boost technology and upgraded woofer providing deeper, undistorted bass no matter the volume, the introduction of Auracast™ brings multiple speakers together. With a monumental 28 hours of battery usage in Playtime Boost mode, it’s also drop-proof and boasts IP68-certified waterproof and dustproof qualities.

Both speakers arrive in seven color combinations: “Black,” “Blue,” “White,” “Red,” “Camo,” “Pink,” and “Purple.”

The JBL Flip 7 and Charge 6 retail for $149.95 USD and $199.95 USD, respectively, and are both available to purchase from the brand’s website now.
