Marjorie Taylor Greene continues to represent the small (and getting smaller) faction of Republicans opposed to dropping bombs on Iran. After her (and Tucker Carlson’s) calls to not move forward with strikes were ignored by the president, the congresswoman from Georgia took to social media on Sunday to share her “thoughts” on the matter, saying she remains loyal to Donald Trump but is “sick of” foreign wars. She also managed to work in references to “criminal illegal aliens” and the claim that Joe Biden has dementia, because of course she did.

Dubiously stating that “almost everyone in our country can relate to” knowing someone who has been the victim “of crime committed by criminal illegal aliens or MURDERED by Cartel and Chinese fentanyl/drugs,” Greene wrote that America has nevertheless “not dropped bunker busters on the Cartel’s sophisticated drug tunnels, launched tomahawks on massive cartel poisonous drug operations, or gone to war against the cartels international terrorists networks.” Perhaps referring to Senator Ted Cruz’s less-than-robust knowledge of Iran, she slammed the “Neocon warmongers [who] beat their drums of war and act like Billy badasses going to war in countries most Americans have never seen and can’t find on a map, but never find the courage to go to war against the actual terrorists who actually do kill Americans, invade our land, and make BILLIONS doing it day after day, year after year.”

Noting that she is 51 years old and a member of Generation X, Greene said she‘s “sick of” seeing American troops killed or maimed in endless foreign wars that have “cost Americans TRILLIONS” of dollars, money she’d rather have seen invested at home. “It pisses me off beyond comprehension,” she wrote, “that my children’s generation can’t afford to buy a house, can’t afford insurance, and have little hope for their future!!!”

To her fellow Republicans who are unhappy about her openly critiquing Trump, she added:

I can also support President Trump and his great administration on many of the great things they are doing while disagreeing on bombing Iran and getting involved in a hot war that Israel started.

That’s not disloyalty. Critical thinking and having my own opinions is the most American thing ever.

Then she threw in a couple lines about “brainwashed Democrat boomers” and “Dementia ridden Biden’s proxy war against Russia in Ukraine,” and claimed that “MAGA is not a cult.” In case you were starting to panic about nodding your head in agreement with space-laser lady.
