The Storm Beast’s Pom Poms are a Hero Item in Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 3 Super that allow you to transform into, well, the Storm Beast.

As part of a weekly quest, you’ll need to eliminate five opponents as the Storm Beast, but to do that, you’ll need to find a pair of pom poms. The Storm Beast’s Pom Poms can be a little tricky to find, but luckily, the Pom Poms are guaranteed to be found in one location on the map — as long as you have the bars for it.

Here’s how to get Storm Beast’s Pom Poms in Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 3 Super and how to use them.

How to get Storm Beast’s Pom Poms in Fortnite

Before you start looking for Storm Beast’s Pom Poms, you should know that they’re not available in ranked play. Make sure you’re queuing up for an unranked game or else you won’t be able to find them!

To get eliminations as Storm Beast in Fortnite, you’ll first need to transform into Storm Beast, which can only be done with the Storm Beast’s Pom Poms.

There are a few ways you can get your hands on Storm Beast’s Pom Poms, but only one of them is a guaranteed. You can purchase Storm Beast’s Pom Poms for 400 gold bars from Haylee Skye, who roams around the northeastern area of Pumped Power.

As Storm Beast’s Pom Poms are a Hero Item, there’s a chance to find them in a variety of other locations:

  • Academy Tech Labs — Storm Beast’s Pom Poms can be found inside the Academy Tech Lab’s vaults, which are marked on the map with a flask and Supernova icon.
  • Weapon stands — Found inside Academy Tech Labs and in random locations around the map.
  • B-rank hero caches or higher — Chests scattered around the map that can only be opened once you reach a certain Hero Rank.
  • Random chest/floor loot

How to use Storm Beast’s Pom Poms in Fortnite

Once you get your hands on Storm Beast’s Pom Poms in Fortnite, you’ll need to press the shoot button to transform into the Storm Beast. As the Storm Beast, you’ll gain a new health bar, increased jump height and an arsenal of powerful abilities:

  • Melee attack (Shoot) — Slash away directly in front of you with each consecutive hit dealing more damage.
  • Storm Slam (Aim) — Leap into the air and slam down onto the ground after a brief amount of time.

To undo the transformation, you can either wait til you deplete your health bar or hold your interact button. After you return to normal, the durability of the Pom Poms will deplete, so make sure to not repeatedly transform and undo the transformation or else you’ll quickly lose the item.
