Chicago Cubs fan Roy Wood Jr. is heading back to the ballpark in a new documentary for Roku.

Wood Jr., who spent eight years as a correspondent for The Daily Show, grew up playing baseball in Birmingham, Alabama and is now set to host Going, Going Gone: The Magic of the Home Run.

The Have I Got News For You host, who also hosted baseball podcast Road to Rickwood, is heading to different ballparks and other baseball landmarks across the country to revisit some of the most memorable home runs in history.

Going, Going Gone: The Magic of the Home Run will air on The Roku Channel on July to celebrate the Home Run Derby, which takes place on July 14 at Truist Park in Atlanta. It is produced by MLB Studios. Sean Boyle is overseeing the project on behalf of Roku

The doc also features appearances from Pete Alonso, Mookie Betts, Freddie Freeman, Albert Pujols, Chris Berman, and Bob Costas.

It is Roku’s latest at bat as it is in its second season as the exclusive home of the MLB Sunday Leadoff.

Wood Jr. said, “As a baseball fan, it’s an honor to lead the exploration into one of the most electric acts in all of sports.”

“This special marks a new milestone in our partnership with Major League Baseball and will bring audiences the fun, emotion, and anticipation of the home run, and more specifically, one of the biggest events in sports, the Home Run Derby,” added Joe Franzetta, Head of Sports, Roku Media. “We look forward to having the sport’s top players and figures unpack notable performances, electric moments, and more in this all-new special.”
