Denise Rehrig will be the new executive producer of ABC News Live’s flagship show Prime with Linsey Davis.
Rehrig is returning to the network, having been senior broadcast producer at Good Morning America.
As EP, she will oversee all aspects of the newscast, including editorial direction and day-to-day production. She will report to Seni Tienabeso, vice president of ABC News Live and specialized units. She succeeds Eric Ortega in the role.
Rehrig had been co-executive producer of The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, during a time when the show won an Emmy for the special Stephen Colbert’s Election Night 2020: Democracy’s Last Stand Building Back America Great Again Better, and the team won a Peabody award. She also produced last year’s Election Night Live With Brian Williams, the Amazon Prime election special.

Rehrig started her career at CNBC producing shows such as Squawk on the Street and Fast Money.
