‘Clarkson’s Farm’ Continues To Harvest Plentiful Ratings For Amazon Prime Video

EXCLUSIVE: If nothing else, Jeremy Clarkson has shown how farmers’ livelihoods are beholden to the vicissitudes of the weather gods. But there is now one thing you can guarantee every year: Clarkson’s Farm will harvest a bumper crop of ratings for Amazon Prime Video.

Jeremy Clarkson’s adventures on his Diddly Squat dwelling in the Cotswolds continue to resonate with British viewers, with Season 4 on course to become the most-watched to date, according to an analysis of viewing figures by Deadline.

The final two episodes of the season dropped on Amazon Prime Video on Friday, and while it is too early to analyse how these have rated, it is possible to look back on the first six instalments of 2025. Season 4 has averaged 4.4M viewers so far this year, according to official seven-day viewing figures from Barb and overnights.tv.

This puts it just a shade ahead of Season 3 over the same number of episodes. Last year’s season averaged 4.3M over its first six instalments, even though this included the highest-rated single episode to date: the 2024 premiere, which was seen by 5.2M viewers. The best performing instalment of Season 4 has been episode two with 5M viewers.

Clarkson’s Farm has comfortably been Amazon Prime Video’s biggest show of the year, while the second episode of Season 4 was the UK’s second most-watched TV event in the week to May 25, according to Barb’s ranking of the top 50 shows. The only Amazon series that has come close to Clarkson’s Farm is LOL: Last One Laughing UK, which chuckled along with audiences of up to 3.1M earlier this year.

Produced by Expectation, Amazon Prime Video has renewed Clarkson’s Farm for a fifth season, which will premiere next year. Beyond that, there is uncertainty. Clarkson has suggested that it will take a good story to warrant another season, while he also said the team is in need of a break. “We’ve been filming here two or three days a week, every week, for five years. Everybody could do with a rest,” he told The Sunday Times.
