Epstein survivors join Rosie O’Donnell in defiant showing amid Trump admin stonewalling

Amid the Trump administration’s ongoing refusal to release its remaining trove of Jeffrey Epstein-related files, comedian Rosie O’Donnell joined with several survivors for a defiant performance.

O’Donnell released video of the performance in a social media post on Instagram Thursday.

“After the corrupt AG (trumps former personal lawyer) implied that he did not believe men accused of sex abbuse [sic] would be charged as a result of the epstein files – despite mountains of evidence … i called some epstein survivors [and] asked them to sing with me,” O’Donnell wrote.

In the brief video, seven women who say they were abused by Epstein can be seen standing alongside each other, all wearing white, singing what O’Donnell described as the “powerful” Helen Reddy song “I Am Woman,” a feminist anthem of the women’s liberation movement.

“I know it’s been very hard for you and with very little support,” O’Donnell is heard telling the Epstein survivors ahead of the performance. “And I’m sorry that our country’s so f—– up that this is what you have to live through, because you are all heroes and you’re going to change how the world deals with child sex abuse.”

Trump’s attorney general, Todd Blanche, once Trump’s personal lawyer, has claimed that his agency has not uncovered “evidence that could predicate an investigation against uncharged third parties,” a position that has drawn fierce scrutiny.

O’Donnell’s feud with Trump dates back to 2006 after the comedian criticized him on “The View,” sparking a two-decade-long spat where Trump has repeatedly lashed out at O’Donnell using derogatory language. O’Donnell revealed new details last year about Trump’s 1993 wedding to his second wife, including that Trump made time during the ceremony to greet one of the guests: Epstein.
