Sydney Sweeney is in a state of “euphoria” after ending her six-year relationship with Jonathan Davino.
The actress confirmed she’s “loving” being single again in an interview with the Sunday Times published on Saturday.
“I’m learning a lot about myself, spending more time with my friends. And I’m loving it,” Sweeney told the outlet.
Sweeney and Davino called it quits in March after canceling their wedding earlier that month.
At the time, a source told Us Weekly the pair was having “major issues” in their relationship.
The “Anyone But You” star, 27, was also reportedly “extremely busy” with her work schedule and “couldn’t handle the stress” of wedding planning.
“She’s exactly where she wants to be. Most people would feel overwhelmed by her working schedule this year, but not Syd. She’s all about working right now and very excited about all her projects,” a separate insider told People of the breakup.
“What did make her overwhelmed, though, was her relationship and her wedding. She didn’t feel right about it,” the source added.
According to the insider, the “Euphoria” star was choosing to prioritize her “magical career.”
“She’s not ready to settle down,” the source said. “They only lasted for this long because it was hard for her to break it off. They didn’t split because there is no love. They split because she just wants to focus on her career right now.”
The actress has been spotted enjoying her single status post-split.

Sweeney was seen embracing the 35-year-old rocker, who recently welcomed a baby with Megan Fox.
She was also reignited reignited dating rumors with her “Anyone But You” co-star Glen Powell after they both attended his sister Leslie’s wedding in April.
But Powell’s mother squashed the rumors saying they were “definitely” not together.
Sweeney was also seen sharing a flirty exchange with her “The Housemaid” co-star Brandon Sklenar at Stagecoach festival later that month.
But a source told Us Weekly that “they are just really good friends, and Sydney is living her best life right now.”
