Alana “Honey Boo Boo” Thompson and “Mama June” Shannon found themselves in an awkward situation after being asked to join a popular reality show — only to be ghosted.

The “Here Comes Honey Boo Boo” star made the surprising revelation when she was asked if there was a competition reality show she’d want to join.

“I’m not sure if I’m even supposed to be saying this, but who cares,” the reality star, 19, told Page Six Radio co-hosts Danny Murphy and Ian Mohr on Friday.

“‘House of Villains’ reached out to me and they wanted me to be on it,” she alleged. “And I had an interview with them — never heard anything back. So…” Thompson shrugged.

She added, “I ain’t sign no contract so I can say whatever I want!”

Murphy confessed to being “shocked” that the show reached out to the reality star, given that Thompson is “not a villain.”

The TLC star admitted she didn’t “know what the deets were,” but explained that she and her mother attended the Zoom interview.

Murphy pointed out that Thompson previously appeared with her mother on “The Masked Singer” — which she had said “wasn’t a great experience” — and asked if she was “hesitant” to tackle another competition reality show with Shannon.

“We’re in a better place now,” Thompson confirmed, adding that she thought it would be “fun” to appear alongside her famous mom again.

The “Toddlers & Tiaras” stars appeared together as wildcard contestants in Season 6 of “The Masked Singer” in 2021 — they memorably performed Miley Cyrus’ hit “Party in the U.S.A.” as the “Beachball” on the Fox series.

In a subsequent interview, Shannon called it a “great experience,” noting that she “had been clean for over a year and a half.”

“So for me it was an emotional experience, and I guess that’s why I teared up when we got on stage the night of the performance,” she told People in November 2021.

“Because I was actually doing something with her for the first time outside of everyday life, our show — a huge project in California — sober.”

Still, following the performance, Thompson confessed the on-again, off-again rift with the “Mama June: Road to Redemption” star hadn’t been completely healed by the experience.

“I feel like right now, we’re definitely working on us and trying to fix the relationship,” she told Entertainment Tonight at the time. “I don’t feel like it’s 110 percent fixed, but it’s definitely getting there, that’s for sure.”
