Julianne Moore has never not been at the top of our style inspo list. The prolific actor is always radiant, always promoting this project or the other, and always putting fresh and interesting brands on our radars.
This week she has a new haircut—a long bob that has rejuvenated her features and gives her a fresh and summery look—and a long list of press events for her new Netflix show, Sirens. In fact, in less than 24 hours the actor has worn two impeccable looks where she showed us how to elevate cool, textured loafers and an everyday bag.
The first look: a midi skirt and a gray sweater.
Moore’s first outfit consists of a rust-colored midi skirt in a subtle checkered weave, a basic crewneck sweater in gray, and the aforementioned leather accessories, both from Bottega Veneta. The loafers are braided and have a silhouette more similar to a slipper than a masculine shoe. They match perfectly with the woven Pinacoteca bag in black.
The second look: a white tee and jeans.
Her second look includes the same Bottega Veneta loafers and tote, but they’re styled completely differently. This look is even more minimalist (and replicable), something easy but still presentable enough for the paparazzi. For this occasion, Julianne Moore opted for cigarette jeans with a frayed hem, a white T-shirt, and a super oversized blazer. Basics, but make them 2025.
