A Louisiana woman allegedly beat a man to a pulp in the street Friday and then left him there to die when two cars ran over his crumbled body moments later, according to cops.

Tonnisha Mitchell, 43, allegedly wacked Gene Hill, 42, in the head and body with a bat several times after the pair got into a heated argument in her car that spilled out onto the street around midnight, according to the Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office.

Hill was beaten so badly he fell to the ground as Mitchell fled the scene, witnesses told investigators, according to the sheriff’s office.

Tonnisha Mitchell was arrested and charged with manslaughter.

The victim couldn’t get to his feet and was subsequently hit by the two passing cars, leading to his death, authorities said.

In addition to manslaughter, Mitchell is also accused of trying to destroy evidence at different spots in the area following the beating, the sheriff’s office said.

She was later arrested at her home, cops said.

It’s unclear what the relationship was between the suspect and the victim.

Mitchell’s facing charges of manslaughter and second-degree battery, and has been detained at Calcasieu Correctional Center.
