Forget about Cannes Film Festival, Pamela Anderson is bringing Old Hollywood glamour to New York City.

On May 21, Anderson was photographed in a rose-covered Marni skirt set, completed with a classic headscarf and cat-eye sunglasses combo—and that was just one of the Pinterest-worthy looks from her Naked Gun press tour. That very same day, Anderson also stepped out in the Meatpacking District of New York City wearing a black tweed minidress and stockings, which she paired with a chic pair of oval sunnies and pointed pumps.

As for her hair, the 57-year-old actor served real Marilyn Monroe energy, styling her hair in a bouncy bob with her micro bangs swept away from her face.

All week, in fact, Anderson has been sporting a curly version of the French bob she debuted at the 2025 Met Gala, starting with an outing in a classic black trouser and sweater combo on May 19.

As she told British Vogue, the curls add a “playful and romantic” quality to the chop, which she originally cut for her next dramatic role in Place to Be, also starring Ellen Burstyn and Taika Waititi.

Right now, however, she’s dialing up the glamour to promote her latest film, Naked Gun, an action comedy starring Anderson and Liam Neeson. Throughout this press tour, Anderson has notably re-embraced makeup after years of purposefully going without.

“I’ve never been opposed to glam, I was only waiting to see what my next incarnation would be,” Pamela Anderson told British Vogue of her most recent style era. “Playful and romantic” sounds like a pretty apt description to me.

Pamela Anderson first ditched makeup in honor of her longtime makeup artist, Alexis Vogel, who died of cancer in 2019. “She was the best,” Anderson said of Vogel in an interview with Elle magazine in August 2023. “And since then, I just felt, without Alexis, it’s just better for me not to wear makeup.”

A few months after that interview, she launched her skin-care brand Sonsie in January 2024. “I wanted a clean slate and dove into good quality, simple skincare that could mimic my dream, how I want to live and breathe, in nature and the red-carpet world,” she tells British Vogue.

Now, she says her makeup journey served as “a reminder that we’re good enough without following trends.” Of course, that doesn’t change because she’s added a bit of blush to her routine.

“I’m not chasing anything, I’m going with the flow, living in the present moment,” Anderson said. “It’s been a journey to get here, and we all do it our own way—fashion and beauty are subjective—I’m proof of that. You will never make everyone happy. I’m trying to inspire feelings, not details. It’s how I see the world.”
