The Western Conference Finals officially get underway Tuesday night from the Paycom Center as Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and the Oklahoma City Thunder play host to Anthony Edwards and the Minnesota Timberwolves.

After sweeping the Memphis Grizzlies in the first round, the Thunder found themselves in a tough series against the Denver Nuggets. They came back from a 2-1 deficit, eventually winning in seven games.

The Timberwolves won 19 fewer games than the Thunder during the regular season but also had the easier path to this series, defeating both the Golden State Warriors and Los Angeles Lakers in five games.
Coach Chris Finch’s rotations have been shorter during the playoffs, with only eight players appearing in more than three minutes during the Western Conference Semifinals. Edwards led the team last round with 26.2 points, 7.6 rebounds, 5.6 assists, 1.8 steals, and 1.2 blocks per game.
During the regular season, the Timberwolves and Thunder played four times, with each team winning twice.
