Congratulations are in order for Peppa Pig!
The popular children’s character is a big sister once again after her mom, Mummy Pig, gave birth to a baby girl named Evie. The adorable addition also includes a signature heart-shaped birthmark.
Evie joins big sister Peppa, big brother George, Mummy and Daddy Pig, who have been a family of four for 20 years.
The big welcome doesn’t stop there.
On Tuesday Hasbro announced Evie will make her on-screen debut on “Peppa Meets the Baby Cinema Experience.” The movie will be screened in over 350 theaters across the United States on May 30. Showtimes and tickets for the “oinktastic hour-long event” are available now at https://peppapigcinemaexperience.com.
The toy company is also celebrating the birth with a new you roll out available exclusively at Walmart starting Tuesday through July 31. The merchandise includes the Oinks & Snuggles interactive baby Evie doll, Peppa’s Family Five Pack figure set, Peppa’s Big Family Car and Peppa’s Big Fold Out House.
Starting August 1, all of the non-exclusive Evie products will be available at most major retailers across the country.
The baby’s arrival comes three months after Mummy Pig announced on Kylie Kelce’s podcast “Not Gonna Lie…with Kylie Kelce” that she was expecting. In April, it was revealed Mummy would be having a girl.
“Peppa Pig” is an animated British children’s series, which first aired in 2004. The show has been broadcast in over 180 countries.
