Tulsi Gabbard Says James Comey Should be Jailed for ‘8647’ Post

James Comey should be jailed for his “8647” Instagram post, said Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard.

She told Fox News host Jesse Watters that if “any other person with the position of influence that [Comey] has, people who take very seriously what a guy of his stature, his experience, and what the propaganda media has built him up to be, I’m very concerned for the president’s life.”

“We’ve already seen assassination attempts. I’m very concerned for his life. And James Comey, in my view, should be held accountable and put behind bars for this,” Gabbard said.

The former FBI director wrote “cool shell formation on my beach walk” in the post, which shared an image of seashells that read “8647”.

The term “86” generally means to “get rid of” something or someone, such as an item or a customer, though it has more recently also been used by some as a slang term for killing someone.

President Donald Trump, who fired Comey from the FBI in 2017 and with whom he has clashed, is the 47th president of the U.S.

Comey took the post down after a backlash and said he thought it was “a political message” and that he “didn’t realize some folks associate those numbers with violence.”

This is a developing article and more information will be added soon.
