Chelsea FC has unveiled new plans to build the world’s first football-themed residences. Located in Dubai’s Maritime City, the four residential skyscrapers will house 1,400 homes. This also marks Chelsea FC’s first branded residential project.
Property development company DAMAC has confirmed that the skyscrapers will tower over the skyline at 130-meters high, featuring views of the Arabian Gulf. One of the towers will have a rooftop football pitch, on-theme with the Chelsea Fc influence. The residences will also be equipped with an athlete performance center, Chelsea Sports Bar, private cinema and and Aquarium Lounge. Across the 1,400 residences, flats will be split across one, two and three-bedroom apartments to give “the ultimate branded living experience.” Chelsea FC president of commercial Todd Kline said in a statement, “This partnership with DAMAC signals an exciting chapter in the Chelsea story, bringing our club’s spirit and prestige into the real estate world. Chelsea Residences by DAMAC will give our fans and discerning buyers the chance to become part of the Chelsea legacy in an entirely new and extraordinary way.”
DAMAC’s collaboration with Chelsea FC is expected to be the “first-of-the-kind.” DAMAC’s managing director of sales and development Amira Sajwani said that the residences is slated to offer “an unmatched residential opportunity for buyers who value exclusivity and quality. With Dubai’s reputation as a leading global city for luxury real estate, we are confident this project will set new benchmarks for branded residences.” Promising world-class luxurious designs, the towers also feature the Chelsea FC branding, including the iconic blue lion as a symbol on the front of the towers. Its sports facilities include state of the art wellness offerings like a cryotherapy centre, aerial yoga studio and forest relaxation pods.
