Mobile game publisher Brightika announced that it’s planning to move into PC and console gaming, planning to invest $3 million in new titles. According to the company, it plans to support indie titles with a specific model that includes marketing and operations as well as “selective product support.” It plans to deploy the funding over the next 12-24 months.

Brightika’s funding will go towards marketing, user acquisition, localization and community support, with other product support including demos and trailers. The company plans to boost the discoverability and and visibility of its partners’ games using some of its existing models and experience.

Brightika’s existing library is primarily in the mobile free-to-play space, with titles like IQ Boost, Can You Spot It and Bingo Klondike. One of the first PC games in its catalog is the upcoming Bullet Yeeters, a PvP third-person shooter starring battling toys that’s set to launch in the spring. Brightika reports that it’s in discussions with indie teams and plans to reveal the first recipients of the funding at Steam Next Fest.

Alexander Rodichev, Brightika’s founder, said in a statement, “We’ve helped mobile studios reach tens of millions of players and generate sustainable revenue. The next step for us is to bring that same level of marketing science and publishing discipline to the PC and console space, where developers often lack access to funding and distribution support.”
