The series was first announced to be in the works at Apple in 2022 and was set to be based on the Apple Original Podcast Wild Things: Siegfried & Roy. Production is slated to begin this fall and the official logline sees the show follow the plot that “tells the wild ride relationship tale of two of the greatest showman-magicians in history who, along with their white tigers, are tasked with turning Sin City into a family-friendly destination. The duo push the concept of illusion versus reality to the extreme, personally and professionally, until tragedy reframes and opens a mystery surrounding their last fateful Las Vegas show.”

The series is developed by John Hoffman who will also serve as an executive producer, showrunner and director. Law and Garfield are also executive producing along with Brian Grazer, Kristen Zolner and Natalie Berkus for Imagine Entertainment and Tony Leondis and Kathy Ciric. The original Siegfried Fischbacher and Roy Horn began as a nightclub and cruise ship act before setting out to Las Vegas. One of their most famous performances included their act that featured magic and white tigers at the Mirage Hotel and Casino from 1999-2003. The act came to an end when Roy was bitten in the throat by one of the tigers during a live performance. He later suffered a stroke and let to the duo shuttering their show and retiring from public life entirely.
