Yes, you may be surprised (though hopefully not shocked) to learn that the platinum blonde bombshell locks she’s typically seen sporting is not all growing out of her head (actually…this was an entire debate, so maybe it needs to be explained? Yes, she wears a lot of hairpieces; no, she doesn’t lip sync). In fact, Carpenter previously showed off her naturally wavy dyed blonde hair last summer in a post from her travels through Europe.

Now, in a post celebrating her 26th birthday, Carpenter is showing off her natural hair once again, and it definitely looks, her the album title suggests, short and sweet.

A head’s up for anyone deeply offended by her sex kitten stage persona: it’s just not that serious. “This is a pretty dress on you – happy birthday bb girl” Carpenter’s Girl Meets World co-star Danielle Fishel commented on the post. Couldn’t agree more. The negligee-style slip dress is cute and breezy. Yellow and blue are quickly becoming Carpenter’s signature colors, and are both so flattering. Happy birthday, Brina!
