Less than a week since Tudor revealed the Black Bay Chrono “Carbon 25” at the Miami Grand Prix, the watch brand is back with another carbon chronograph offering. The new FXD Chrono “Pink” watch is a limited edition dedicated to honor and celebrate the prestigious cycling Grand Tour, Giro d’Italia. The pink accents incorporated in the timepiece pay tribute to the Maglia Rosa (or “pink jersey”), which is traditionally given to the winner of the race.
Coming in a 42mm matte black carbon composite watch case, the Pelagos FXD Chrono “Pink” is paired with fixed strap bars. Engineered with cyclists in mind, the watch also implements titanium elements that enhance its robustness, all the while ensuring lightweight and comfortable wear.
The watch’s design also prioritizes usability for riders. Typically, chronograph tachymeters suit automobile speeds. However, the Pelagos FXD Chrono “Pink” features a cycling-specific scale. The scale spirals around the dial, allowing cyclists to easily read their average speeds. Powering this timepiece is the MT5813 Manufacture movement, geared with a 70-hour power reserve, complete with a water resistance of up to 10 ATM.
