Kendrick Lamar leads the way with 10 nominations for the 25th BET Awards, which were announced Thursday honoring Black excellence across music, TV, film and sports.
Lamar scooped up noms for Album of the Year and Best Male Hip Hop Artist as well as three noms each in the Viewers Choice (for “Not Like Us,” “Luther” with SZA and “Like That” with Future & Metro Boomin) and Best Collaboration (for “Luther,” “Like That” and “30 For 30” with SZA) categories.
Doechii, Drake, Future and GloRilla have six nominations apiece, while Metro Boomin has five and SZA and The Weeknd have four apiece.
Winners will be announced June 9 in a ceremony at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles live on BET. Kevin Hart is set to host.
