Amazon appears to be moving forward with additional seasons of Beast Games.
Deadline understands that the streamer is casting for Season 2 and, though there hasn’t been an official renewal announcement, we hear there’s talk of a two-season order. Head of Prime Video and Amazon MGM Studios Mike Hopkins seemed to confirm that Wednesday during a panel at the Milken Institute Global Conference in Los Angeles.
“We’re going to do a couple more seasons of that, I think, soon,” he said of the series while describing the success the company has had so far dipping its toes into the creator economy.
MrBeast, otherwise known as Jimmy Donaldson, gave away $25 million in prize money on his Prime Video competition series, which debuted in December. He seemed eager to hand out even more cash during a recent conversation for Deadline’s Contenders TV, teasing that “another 10 seasons could happen.”
However, at the time, he remained coy about the show’s prospects, adding: “[Sean] Klitzner is kind of my boss in this regard, and he told me I wasn’t allowed to speak about that subject during this interview.”

Fellow panelist Klitzner, one of the show’s co-creators and executive producers, also swerved the question but added there’s an “unlimited amount of good ideas.”
“If there’s a good idea in front of us, and there’s a YouTube video that needs it, we’re going to film it for the YouTube video,” he said. “Another good idea is right around the corner.”
In January, Beast Games set an audience record on Prime Video, becoming the streamer’s most-watched unscripted series ever in its first 25 days. Per the streamer, the series has racked up 50M viewers globally in that time frame, also making it the second most-watched and second most acquisitive new series of 2024, behind only Fallout.

Based on his already successful YouTube show, Beast Games is touted “to become the biggest reality competition series ever with 1000 contestants competing for a $5 million dollar cash prize” — the biggest payout in TV history. MrBeast serves as host and executive producer.
In November 2022, MrBeast became the most subscribed YouTube creator worldwide and now has over 244 million subscribers. His social media career began when he first posted on the platform at 13, though he rose to fame in 2017 when a video of MrBeast counting to 100,000 went viral.
