Shelter PR, the bi-coastal PR firm repping some of the industry’s top talent that’s also a key player in the awards space, has promoted four senior publicists across its Los Angeles and New York offices.
The promotees are Jenny Tversky, Jessica Sze, Stephanie Kazanjian, and Larissa Saenz, who (with the exception of Saenz), worked alongside Shelter PR’s founding Partners — Marla Farrell, Cara Tripicchio and Christine Tripicchio — during their earlier tenure at WKT Public Relations, the firm now known as Wolf Kasteler PR.
Named Executive Vice President, Tversky will oversee company and staff relations across both coasts. A founding member of Shelter PR, Sze has been promoted to Vice President within the company’s New York office, as has Kazanjian. And then there’s Saenz, who has been named a Vice President of Shelter PR’s Los Angeles office.
In a statement on the promotions, the Shelter Partners said, “As we reflect on the past decade since we formed Shelter PR, we attribute the company’s success to our dedicated, innovative and ambitious team. It is with immense pride that we recognize the achievements of several of our senior executives with well-deserved promotions, including Jenny Tversky, Stephanie Kazanjian, Jessica Sze and Larissa Saenz, all of whom have established themselves as formidable publicists and trailblazers across both Coasts and in the global market. We are excited to witness their continued growth in their new leadership roles.”
Joining Shelter PR’s New York office as a senior publicist in 2015, after working at WKT, Tversky was promoted to Vice President in 2018. During her time at the company, she’s built a respected client list that includes Julia Garner, Phoebe Waller-Bridge, Betty Gilpin, Kerry Condon, and Christine Baranski; Tony-winning actors Jonathan Groff and Adrienne Warren; multi-hyphenates Molly Gordon, Hannah Marks, and Maude Apatow; and breakout stars Meghann Fahy, Chase Sui Wonders, Jayme Lawson and Jeremy Pope, among others.
Dedicated to elevating talent from across Asia and creating opportunities for new voices, Sze began her career under Farrell at WKT PR before helping to launch and grow Shelter PR’s New York office. She’s been instrumental in building successful awards campaigns, securing recognition for clients across major platforms and shaping the careers of renowned figures like Jeff Goldblum, Jodie Comer, and Elizabeth Olsen, while also amplifying rising stars including Suzanna Son, Radhika Apte, Will Harrison, John Kim, and Isa Briones. Sze has helped bring groundbreaking stories to the forefront, while working alongside such trailblazing artists as Stephanie Hsu, Nana Mensah, and Brian Tee, and has also been a key architect in bridging Hollywood with the Korean entertainment industry. Her clients in that space include Don Lee (Ma Dong-Seok), YunJee Kim, Minyeong Choi, and Han Gi-Chan, among others.
The New York-based Kazanjian began her career at WKT in 2012 before joining Shelter in 2018. Over the past six years, she’s cultivated a standout roster of actors working across film, television, and theater, including Aaron Moten, Natalia Dyer, Josh Heuston, Felix Mallard, Shailene Woodley, Lukita Maxwell, Lily McInerny, Ella Purnell, Ed Skrein, Dan Stevens, Callum Turner, Geraldine Viswanathan, and Toby Wallace, among others. In addition to her work in talent representation, she devotes her time to Inevitable Foundation, a nonprofit organization dedicated to closing the disability representation gap in Hollywood.
Joining Shelter from ID-PR in 2021, Saenz’s roster spans actors, creators, bestselling authors, and breakout internet auteurs. After stints in international marketing and publicity at Sierra/Affinity and Lionsgate, she transitioned to personal publicity, first at BWR Public Relations, and then at ID PR. Over the years, she’s helped shape campaigns for talent like Alan Ritchson, Brett Goldstein, and Jared Padalecki, while supporting emerging talents like Marisa Abela, Lola Petticrew, Arthur Conti, and Noah Bech. Other notable clients include Lisa Taddeo, Kate Herron, Marissa Jo Cerar, and Michelle Nader, to name just a few.
Founded in 2014, Shelter PR’s clients apart from the aforementioned include Tina Fey, Da’Vine Joy Randolph, Alana Haim, Tom Holland, Dev Patel, Florence Pugh, Steve Carell, Tessa Thompson, Joaquin Phoenix, Kaitlyn Dever, Jason Bateman, Regé-Jean Page, Millie Bobby Brown, Corey Hawkins, Nicole Scherzinger, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Gabriel Luna and Rooney Mara, as well as such filmmaker/creators as Nia DaCosta, Sam Taylor-Johnson, Nnamdi Asomugha, Gloria Calderón Kellett, Jen Statsky, Martin McDonagh, and Aggregate. In recent years, the agency has also expanded to rep cause- and product-related clientele like Inevitable Foundation and Holland’s N/A beer brand BERO.
