The Colorado Avalanche and Dallas Stars continue their best-of-seven first-round series in the Stanley Cup Playoffs on Monday. Heading into Game 5, this series is tied 2-2, making this a huge game as it will put one team on the brink of a first-round victory.

Colorado opened this series with a huge 5-1 road victory, but the Stars answered in Game 2, winning 4-3 in overtime. The series then shifted to Denver, where the Stars recorded another overtime victory, taking a 2-1 win this time.
But Colorado answered back in Game 4, winning 4-0 on their home ice to even the series. Logan O’Connor, Nathan MacKinnon, Gabriel Landeskog, and Samuel Girard all scored goals in the win. MacKinnon has already scored four goals in these playoffs as the Stars have had no answer for the Avalanche star.
Now, we head back to Dallas for Game 5. Can the Stars get the home victory and push Colorado to the brink of elimination, or will the Avs get a second road win of the series, setting up a chance to advance at home in Game 6?
