The full list of inductees for the 2025 Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Class is here.
This year’s performer category features a total of seven acts, with Bad Company, Chubby Checker, Joe Cocker and OutKast getting inducted as first-time nominees. Cyndi Lauper and The White Stripes also join the class as two-time nominees, while Soundgarden’s induction comes after getting nominated twice in the past.
Meanwhile, the 2025 Rock Hall’s musical influence award will go to Salt-N-Pepa and Warren Zevon. Receiving the musical excellence award are the late Philadelphia soul pioneer and producer Thom Bell, the late English pianist and organist Nicky Hopkins and prolific bass guitarist Carol Kaye. Finally, record producer and executive Lenny Waronker will be given the Ahmet Ertegun Award.
As Billboard reports, this marks the sixth year in a row that the Rock Hall is inducting at least one rap act. This is also the fourth consecutive year that at least four female acts are part of the induction class with Lauper, Kaye, Salt-N-Pepa and The White Stripes’ Meg White.
