An eight-game winning streak to end the regular season gave the Bucks a lot of hope coming into the series, but with two losses in their first two games, Milwaukee has now lost seven consecutive playoff games.
The eight-point margin of victory in Game 2 was a closer affair than Game 1 (19 points), but the Bucks did not lead for a single second of the game. Antetokounmpo had another monster game, scoring 34 points with 18 rebounds and seven assists, with veteran Bobby Portis adding 28 points and 12 rebounds off the bench, but it was for naught, as the Bucks couldn’t stop the Pacers.
Indiana put together what was one of their finest games of the season in Game 2, racking up 30 assists on 44 made baskets, while shooting a perfect 19-for-19 from the free-throw line. All five starters scored in double digits, led by Pascal Siakam’s 24 points and Tyrese Haliburton’s 21.
