In preparation for Summer, Japanese label BEAMS has teamed up with Salomon for an exclusive colorway of its summertime hybrid sneaker, the XA PRO 3D AMPHIB. From dry urban pavements to wet outdoor terrain, the breathable sneaker offers both optimal performance features and pared-back style.

The XA PRO 3D AMPHIB is designed for hot and wet conditions, offering breathable mesh uppers with sturdy synthetic overlays and a protected toe box. At the heel, vented openings expose the back of the foot to fresh air to improve drainage and air circulation. Trekked outsoles ensure traction in slippery and rocky conditions, while also remaining sleek and non-chunky. Salomon’s Quicklace system offers a minimalistic yet strong solution for easy-on, easy-off. For a touch of vibrant color, bright orange accents appear at the Salomon word mark on the lateral side of the heel strap, and at the S monogram above the tongue.

As the warmer months approach, Salomon has been pushing its popular hybrid designs to facilitate comfortable and functional footwear. The recently unveiled Canvas Pack included the RX MOC 3.0 and RX SLIDE 3.0 in off-white and gingham patterns. Elsewhere, the French footwear label’s partnership with MM6 Maison Margiela has birthed the MM6 Maison Margiela x Salomon XT-Mary J.

BEAMS and Salomon’s new XA PRO 3D AMPHIB is set for release on April 29 at select BEAMS locations and the brand’s web store.
